Broken phone

Phone.It looks like my phone has given up.

For about 6 months I've had to use tape to tie the battery to the phone, but no matter what I try now, the phone won't start anymore.

The phone is 3.5 years old, and I've had good use of it. Now it's time for a new one.

Mijn grootvader deed zijn hele leven met een en dezelfde telefoon.
en nu is drieen een half jaar voor een telefoon een acceptabele levensduur. Wat een vooruitgang, mompelde de oude grijsaard

Tja, zit wel wat in.

Ik was nog erg tevreden met mijn telefoon maar ik heb hem een keer teveel laten vallen denk ik.

3,5 jaar????
Met wat voor een prehistorisch ding liep je rond dan?
De mijne is 1,5 jaar en ik snak naar een nieuwe.....

We hebben gisteren in de winkel naar verschillende telefoons gekeken. Smart phones te over, maar ons huidige belplan is $1.99/Mb. Upgraden naar een unlimited plan kost zo'n $70 per maand meer. Zo hard heb ik het niet nodig! :)

Ha, yesterday I tried to switch on my phone, and it worked!

The screen was hardly readable but I could make a call. I found out that if I switch the phone on, and not move the screen at all, I can get it to work a bit.

So this morning I (finally) made a backup of the contacts on my phone, so I can easily transfer them onto the next one.

Good choice!
I'm looking for a new phone too and I limited my options to the Samsung I900, Blackberry Bold and HTC Touch Diamond. The HTC has one big advantage over the other two.......you can buy it right now :-)

So I think I'll go for that one instead of waiting another few months. By that time there are other phones announched worth waiting for and at the end you wait forever.
