Smack the Pingu.A nice game for the Friday afternoon: Smack the Pingu.

My highest score so far is 492.2; rumor has it that higher scores are possible.

This game is not recommended for penguin-fans.

I think the trick is to hit the pinguin in an angle as high as possible, in which he still slides a considerable distance over the ground. With an angle of 32 degrees I managed to score an impressive distance of 542.4 PY (PinguinYards).

I got to 593 meters in about 60 tries but a friend of mine anoyingly beat that by half a meter.

Excellent little online game. Very addictive and nice graphics. The score of 492.2 is incredible, wow, I didn't get more than something like 318. How on earth did you get so far? You probably have a more powerful PC, so you can hit the pinquin harder. ;~) Nice job Guus! I'll report back here when I've got at least 492.3...

Just try the scientific apprach.
First: all scores above 500 are fictious, The maximum score in the program is set on 500.
Second: don't believe anything a gambler or a fisherman tells about his score.
Third: I won, 493,4 was my score.

that's so not true... the maximum is not set on 500, i've had a 593 and even have a screenshot to testify!! i've heard that that's not far off the max.. a mate of mine got 593.3 if you make sure pingu lands before any distance of 355... he won't nosedive straight into the snow but will skid... leaving you close to the max distance... has anyone hit 600? i'm curious

Ha! I just improved the low-record: 56.3!

It looks exactly the same as when the Pinguin falls 0 PY, but the score is (honestly) 56.3.

Wat ik me dus afvraag: is er iemand die het gelukt is in 1 "val" van de Pinguin 2x te slaan? Dus 1x in de lucht slaan, en dan opnieuw en de Pinguin raken?

Juist! Nu haal ik ook 1215... Volgens mij heeft iemand gewoon het programmatje gekopieerd en er hogere scoremogelijkheden ingeprogrammeerd.

Overigens, het is me nog niet gelukt om na de val van de pinguin twee keer te slaan en dan bij de tweede slag de pinguin te raken....

I think you can get up to 1378. If you look at the rock in the game it has 1378 engraved into it. The highest i've gotten is 593.5 but I've seen screen shots of some in the 1200's. They easily could have been dolled up in photoshop though. Can anyone confirm my hypothesis?

in your game the most I got was 593,5. But there is another game on the link that you already have where you can probably get twice as much.

Just to clear a couple things up.
In this version http://www.meph.eu.org/ The best yopu can get is 593.5 (My best is 593 flat)

In this version http://games.apropo.ro/pingu_v3.html I think the max is 1348 or around there. (My best so far is 1200.1)
