Two years at Chess & Net.Footworks
Today it's 2 years ago since I started working at Net.Footworks.
Tibor started working there a few months earlier and he recommended it when I told him I was looking for a part-time job. The first time I saw everybody was at an extremely dull XML-course. However, everybody agreed that it was a boring course and the work they described sounded promising. After some talking I started working December 4th, 2000 for two days a week.
My first project was Twyp. It's a payment website and the project was done by Chess and Net.Footworks together. I was a Java programmer in this project. Of course I knew the language already but I learned a lot of new things. After working on Twyp for about a year we (Net.Footworks) moved to our new own building.
There we started reisbureau.nl a large website for travelagencies. Unfortunately, the company Net.Footworks no longer exists. However, I'm quite happy with my new place here at Chess.
