10.7 miles - 11.2 minutes/mile

Today I ran twice at Whole Foods, once the golf course. 2 hours and 27 seconds. 11.2 minutes/mile. That was faster than last week's 9 mile run; I think because it was colder today. I felt great, and I realized after doing the 2nd Whole Foods track that I was in good shape. Today it was around 50 degrees, it was in the low 70s last week.

That even though the weekend had a very bad start, running wise. My left feet was hurting, on the top of my foot and it was a bit stiff. I started to go for a run yesterday, than after a few minutes thought: 'I'll scale it down to 35 minutes' but a few minutes later decided to call it quits and walk back. I'm very happy I did that -- it gave the foot another day to heal and this morning, when I didn't feel any pain at all, I was glad I could continue my half marathon schedule. Perhaps it was a muscle or something; if it was something more serious one night wouldn't have made such as difference. I felt my left foot exactly once, about 7 minutes into the run, but it was very mild and I never felt it again during the run.

Next weekend we'll in St Maarten so I'll have a break.
