Another 5 miler - 10.7 minutes/mile
Last week I ran 5.33 miles and I took a 1 minute walk break after every 14 minutes. Today I ran the same distance but increased my number of walk breaks and today's total time was 57:25, only about 30 seconds slower than last week.
So with 2 minutes extra of walking I lost only 30 seconds, and it's really about getting practice in longer runs, and walk breaks are very healthy. I should really keep doing this on my longer runs.
Sasha rightfully advised me to wear long pants today (it's about 32 degrees today).
I ran Friday night as well, 39:06 minutes.
