In New Jersey
I'm staying in New Jersey for a few days this week for work.
I flew in this morning and while I was rather worried, I made it well on time to check in. Curb-side checkin is great -- there's never a line. Not that the lines in RDU are long at all, compared to the D.C. airports.
The rental company gave me a huge Suzuki, with a broken tire pressure monitoring system so my warning light is flashing all the time. I discovered that on the NJ Turnpike and stopped at a gas station, but the technical service I called said that it was a malfunction of the sensor, not of the actual tires so I shouldn't worry about it.

Re: In New Jersey
Oops, nice to know that.... It would have scared me a lot!
Re: In New Jersey
And, do you feel safe with that broken system in your car?...
Where in New Jersey are you staying? This week, my husband is in the New Jersey office, but he's staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bridgewater. Close to you?
Re: In New Jersey
Well, I just check my tires every time I start driving...
Bridgewater is very close to me; it's only 2 or 3 highway exits away.
Re: In New Jersey
simple, always take your airpump with you, the one from your bike.
Have a nice time over there, you know New Jerseys is the name of those nice looking cows? (they live on New Yersey islands, UK)
Re: In New Jersey
Aren't they called just 'Jerseys'? They're popular because their milk contains a lot of fat. As they are quite small, they don't produce a lot milk. The high fat-percentage is still a big advantage as that's the indication of the quality (money that's the milk worth) of the milk.
That's how you get from the holy cow to the real cow. :)
Re: In New Jersey
Well, the only cows I've seen here were in the lasagna (dead, and cooked of course).
