Spring weather
Although the last few days it was colder again, spring is definitely in the air. Especially last weekend was very warm -- I went for a walk in my shorts & T-shirt, pretty amazing for early March.
Now it's colder again, but the trees and flowers are showing signs of an early spring.
This weekend I'm working on a presentation which takes quite some time. This afternoon I went to the library, for the first time on my bike. It's so quick, took only 15 minutes to get there -- it's faster than by metro.

Spring weather
In Holland, the only thing in the night-air is frost. Spring temperatures are far away.
People (including me) become depressed by the everlasting winter with continuing cold northern winds. We find relief in the bottle, like the Scandinavians. And suicide rates rise.
We dream of beautiful beach ressorts in tropical spheres but we dress like eskimos while riding our bicycles to our lousy jobs.
We feel betrayed by those who forecasted temperature rises caused by ozon layer defects: the opposite occurs.
The new ice era is definitly in place and we suffer.
And Davis beats them all.
