3 days in a row

One of my training rules is that I always take at least a day off between two runs, to prevent injuries. I sort of broke that rule now but yesterday's run was slow and relaxed, with lots of walk breaks.

Thursday I ran 9 kilometer with NCRC, Friday Sasha and I went for a run around the golf course (5k or so) and this morning I ran with the Durham Run/Walk meetup group, 6 miles. Thursday's run was pretty tough, I started way to fast, but I've been getting some good exercise. I'm canceling my planned long run for tomorrow though -- the risk on injury is becoming too high. Instead, I'll buy new shoes today and perhaps do a shorter run/walk to break them.
