Guus Bosman

Seems like Google updated its index and included my logbook. Now when you search for Gerben en Ettie it will point you to Guus Bosman.NL.

For my work I removed Net.Footworks from Google, there is no longer any page of www.netfootworks.nl in the index.

The other day when I was reading a story on Slashdot about Google's technology, I found a reference to this website, it 's called the "Google Weblog" and it contains all kinds of cool info on how Google works. What kind of servers they have, what kind of tools there are... quite interesting for internet people :)

There are links there to graphical tools that will draw 'a link-web', a graphic consisting of links that relate to a certain subject. One of these is the TouchGraph GoogleBrowsers. When you try it with guusbosman.nl as starting URL, it will draw a small graph, with for example Tibi's website.

Thanks to Tonie and Joost Blokzijl I discovered the joy of TerraDesk, a tool that contains satellite images of the whole Netherlands!

It might look like I'm not working at all these day, but I am. Reading on the SHAM today. But still, I couldn't help noticing this picture (found on Slashdot) of a war-simulation game... Way, way cool.

Very nice... two e-mails within a minute that contain a virus. Whatever you might think of them, at least hotmail has a decent virus scanner installed.

WinAmp 3.0 has been released! It has a new look, and feels very solid. Now it contains crossfading in the base-installation, a feature I really like.

The Russians are coming! Tomorrow a Russian Antonov airplane will fly over the Netherlands and take pictures of militairy objects. It's part of the Open Skies treaty, which should increase mutual trust between Russia and other countries. Here's the original article, in Dutch.

Found a very funny site, Expatica, that describes how it is to live in Holland for a foreigner:

Wonderful news, the 9 miners who were stuck in an American mine since Wednesday were rescued today and all are okay.
