Oakland Airport Passenger Service Agents (Part-Time)

Bi-Lingual Requirement: Able to speak Dutch

Objective: Airline service provider seeking professional, self-motivated and highly dependable individuals capable of providing quality customer service in a pressurized work environment.

Description: The Passenger Service Agent is responsible for the assisting of passengers during pre-departure and post-arrival operations.

Location: Oakland International Airport (OAK)

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• Able to read and write the English language
• Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Authorized to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986

Job Requirements:
• Required to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
• Able to lift, push and pull a weight of fifty pounds(50lbs)
• Able to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor under pressure
• Proficiency in basic computer usage
• Bi-lingual; must be able to speak Dutch

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Travel document verification
• Passenger count verification
• Baggage Check-in and monitoring
• Baggage Claim resolution
• Assistance of passengers with special needs
• Jet-bridge operation
• Computer terminal usage
• Communication with Operations, Ramp Operations and other airport entities
• Other duties as assigned
