Sales and Marketing Coordinator wanted
Mokeham Publishing Inc. is looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator.
Mokeham Publishing is a young company publishing two periodicals (‘Dutch, the Magazine’ in English and ‘Maandblad de Krant’ in Dutch) and a series of books. The publications are aimed at the Dutch community in North America and anyone else who has an affinity with the Netherlands. As a young company we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Coordinator, who is excited about growing with our company and being instrumental in achieving that growth.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, develop and maintain distribution channels for our publications
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for the subscription base of our periodicals
- Design, create and execute subscription drives for our periodicals
- Develop and execute on a sales strategy for our periodicals and books
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with advertisers
- Develop marketing strategies for our books and publications and execute on those
Qualities we are looking for:
- High school and two years of college or equivalent experience
- Comfortable with telephone sales and contacts
- High level of organizational skills
- Flexibility
- Computer literate, web development and/or graphic design experience an asset
- Self-starter, can work both alone and in a team
- Willing to see the potential to grow with the company
- Experience in advertising, marketing, sales
- Demonstrable affinity with the Dutch community
- Experience in publishing an asset
Our office is located in Penticton, British Columbia. For the right candidate we are willing to discuss teleworking, but a regular presence in the office would be preferable.
